Washington Capitals head coach Spencer Carbery has confirmed that injured Russian forward Alexander Ovechkin will travel with the team on a road trip to Florida.
The match between “Florida” and “Washington” will be held on November 26, the beginning - at 3:00 Moscow time.
Earlier Ovechkin was diagnosed with a fracture of the fibula. He will miss from four to six weeks. In the last two meetings, after Ovechkin dropped out of the game, “Washington” suffered defeats. The team is currently third in the Eastern Conference standings with 27 points.
