According to "Clippers" head coach Tyronn Lue, he doesn't know yet if the star forward will go on the road with the team.
On December 20, the Californians will play in Dallas, and then will play two more away games.
Liu said Kawai is recovering well; the club will evaluate the basketball player's condition in more detail the next day.
Lenard, who missed the start of the regular season because of knee problems, practiced with the "Clippers" last week for the first time since last season.
