Another National Hockey League regular season game between "Utah" and "Vancouver" took place at the "Delta Center" in Salt Lake City. The home team won a willful victory with a score of 3:2 in overtime.
“Utah" was losing 0-2 by the 43rd minute of the game, but managed to even the score and put the game into overtime. A few seconds before the end of extra time, Utah's Russian defenseman Mikhail Sergachev joined the attack and managed to beat the visitors' goalkeeper for the game-winning goal. The Russian was named the first star of the game.
In a parallel game, "Anaheim" pulled out a 3-2 win in the final seconds of regulation time in a home game against "Winnipeg". Troy Terry scored the winning goal.
