The winners scored goals from American defenceman Jaylen Chatfield, Finnish forward Sebastian Aho, Canadian forward Jordan Staal and American Jack Roslovic. Russia's Dmitry Orlov had an assist.
The only goal for "Philadelphia" was scored by USA forward Ryan Peeling.
"Philadelphia" will continue the home series and meet the “Chicago Blackhawks” on 23 November. "Carolina" will play away with “New Jersey Devils” on 22 November.
