The rivals of Russian forward Kirill Kaprizov of the "Minnesota Wild" in the NHL scoring race - Czech forward Martin Nechas of the "Carolina Hurricanes" and Canadian Nathan MacKinnon of the "Colorado Avalanche" - scored points in a face-off between their clubs (5:3 in favor of "Carolina").
