According to San Antonio head coach Gregg Popovich, the team's offensive guard Devin Vassell is doing some contact drills and is expected to return the first week of November.
Vassell is recovering from foot surgery that caused him to miss the last eight games of last regular season.
Vassell played 68 games last season, averaging 19.5 points and 4.1 assists.
