"Edmonton Oilers" captain Connor McDavid had a puck and three assists in a meeting with the "New York Islanders" at "Rogers Place" in Edmonton. 

That brings McDavid to 739 assists including the NHL playoffs in his first 10 seasons.

McDavid caught up with Brian Trottier (739) and moved into fourth place in NHL history in assists in his first 10 seasons with the club. Only Wayne Gretzky (1,388), Mario Lemieux (783) and Paul Coffey (749) have scored more than him.

The game between "Edmonton" and the "Islanders" ended in a 4-3 overtime victory for the home team.
