Bradley Beal talked about what preceded his trade to Phoenix.

According to the star ex-Washington player, he was initially looking at other options to continue his career.

“At first I had two teams, Miami and Milwaukee,” he said.

“The Heat, for whatever reason, didn't want to switch. As for the Bucks, I had my doubts. I didn't like that they were willing to give up Khris Middleton.

Middleton had a player option in his contract, so he had to agree to be traded first. At the time, not many people would have agreed to be traded to Washington. Maybe back in 2017, but definitely not now.

And this whole thing about trading someone who helped you win a championship the previous season and was a key part of the team didn't sit well with me. I think we could eventually adjust to each other, and yet I'm not comfortable with that,” Beal admitted.
