"Philadelphia" defenceman Jamie Drysdale praised the skills of forward Matvey Michkov.
The Russian scored 7 (3+4) points in seven games in his debut season in the NHL. At the moment, Matvey leads the scorer and sniper races among the league's rookies. In the game against Washington (3:6), the forward scored a goal and an assist.
"He's a pretty energetic player when he possesses the puck and he generates dangerous chances on the court. He probably could have scored three goals tonight. That's a heck of a talented forward."
Matvey became just the fifth player in Flyers history among hockey players under the age of 20 to start in the NHL with 7+ points in his first seven games.
